About Angler’s Choice
Founded in 2009 by Dave and Shanah McCready, Angler’s Choice began with a simple passion—hand-pouring soft plastic lures in our garage. What started small has grown steadily over the years, and in 2022 we took a major step forward by introducing our first large-scale injection machine. Even as we expand, we’ve stayed true to our roots—bringing the same care, detail, and quality of hand-pouring into every bait we produce.

Manufacturing Inquiries
At Angler’s Choice, we offer full-service soft bait design and manufacturing—all handled in house from concept to production.
Our process begins with 3D design, allowing us to precisely engineer bait profiles, action, and detail before anything is physically produced. From there, we create functional prototypes for testing, refinement, and approval, ensuring the final product performs exactly as intended on the water.
Once a design is finalized, production molds are manufactured by one of our trusted machine shop partners, each selected for their precision and quality. This allows us to maintain high standards while offering flexibility across a wide range of bait styles and sizes. We also have the ability to utilize existing customer-owned production molds with our injection equipment, whether that includes smaller hand-injection molds or large-scale production molds.
We have also partnered with an Ontario, Canada–based plastisol manufacturer, giving us the ability to work closely with their chemist to customize plastisol formulas as needed for specific projects. This allows us to fine-tune characteristics such as softness, durability, buoyancy, and action to meet exact performance requirements.
We support both small-scale production runs—ideal for new products, limited releases, custom projects, or lower-volume production requirements—as well as large-scale mass production using our automated injection machine. This scalable approach lets our partners grow without needing to change manufacturers as demand increases.
